Where is hankyung super junior
Hankyung also has 13 year contract with unfair terms. He will soon release an official statement so wait for that. DBSK's case took about two and a half months until a partial ruling was given and we expect about the same amount of time to be taken for this case. DBSK's case had numerous negotiations for settlements and couple trials so it took longer than usual.
We hope that Hankyung's case would not be so long. Nothing has been decided in terms of Super Junior. Even a beast don't bite the hand that feeds one I can not understand The contract has many provisiosn which are in SM's favor. When the first contract was signed January Hankyung was 18 then underage and being a Chinese person, he didnt know everything about Korean showbiz so SM had given him a contract with the content that SM suggested.
Not only that, but those side agreements with SM after then on Febuary and December also were only from SM aka Hankyung didnt have chance to suggest the provisions which are in his favor 2. The period of the exclusive contract is 13 years is too long. The first contract was signed stated that it will be ended 10 years after Super Junior's 1st album but it has been extended to 13 years on the 2nd modified time.
Super Junior's 1st album was released in December so the contract will be ended in December and Hankyung will be 35 then. Moreover, if Hankyung gives up some activities because of his health or study, the contract's period will be extended according to the situation so it might be 13 years on the paper but it could be longer in real life and this violated seriously to Hankyung's civil right.
There is clause stated that Hankyung will have to pay SM a lot for breaking contract or creating damages toward the contract, thus this prevents Hankyung to cancel the contract or some agreements on the contract. If Hankyung wants to move to another company and continue his activities, he will have to pay SM threefold of the money that SM had invested to him and pay twofold for the loss of the remain time of his contract.
The amount between Hankyung's rights and responsibilities that stated in the contract are not the same. SM has forced Hankyung to do some activities that against his will. At the training time, if Hankyung was late or absent or didnt fulfill his duty he would be fined 10,won for the 1st time, 20,won for the 2nd time.
After debut, if he was late or absent from his schedule, he would have to pay for all the damage, if he cut the contact with SM more than 1 day according to the situation SM can cancel his contract.
And if he doesnt fulfill his duty, according to the situation he could be fined 5,,won. Hankyung even had been forced to attend some activities because of SM's order when he was ill. The profit distribution and copyrights between SM and Hankyung. During the contract period, all the copyright of albums and song will belong to SM.
He revealed that he could not withstand the pressure the agency put on maintaining a certain image and the restrictions put in place to keep that image. This difference in culture also became part of the supporting factors for his decision. When asked whether or not he cared for the fans, he said that he did indeed care for them, it is just that he does not think he has a lot to offer as an idol. He believes that as an actor he could further please his fans and also earn the pay that he needs.
Furthermore, he does not plan to become an idol until he is 30 or more like his peers do. To add to that, he does not regret leaving, despite having to leave all the fame and fortune, because his action contributed to the improvement of the conditions of foreign idols that debuted after him. After he filed for the termination, the Korean ministry in charge of entertainment companies did look into the situation and into the alleged mistreatment that led to the filing of contract termination.
This led to laws put in place to limit contracts to a 7-year time period and increased pay for foreign entertainers in the industry, including idols. Hangeng felt that his contract termination was necessary in order to bring change and awareness to the state of foreign entertainers in South Korea. After the contract had been terminated, it was well-known that there had been some bad blood between Hangeng and SM Entertainment, especially, with the contract negotiations and court dates piling up and dragging on.
With it came the suspicion that the relationship between Hangeng and the rest of the members of Super Junior had also been very tense and hostile, due to the fact that he did all of this without first consulting the members, even the ones he was extremely close to. If it had been possible, I would have liked to perform with them one more time. Recently, I went to Korea and communicated with leader Leeteuk and my former manager.
However, for various reasons, my dream of standing on stage together did not come true. They have been seen in public quite a few times, as recorded in the videos above.
They shared a fairly good natured hug and a handshake as a sign of their friendly relationship. Latest Trending Popular Breaking.
